With the desire to create opportunities for exchange, networking, learning, and sharing new research and practical experiences with international scholars, the Institute of Business Research (IBR) affiliated with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City respectfully invites lecturers/researchers to attend the seminar with the following details:

- Speaker Introduction: Professor Piotr Krajewski
Professor Piotr Krajewski is a lecturer in Economics from the University of Lodz, Poland and a collaborative researcher at the Business Research Institute (UEH) specializing in fiscal policy and public economics. He received his doctoral degree in 2005 from the same institution, with a dissertation focusing on the impact of tax policy and public expenditure on the Polish economy. As the author of numerous scholarly articles and expert opinions, Professor Krajewski has made significant contributions to public bodies, including consulting on the draft budget for 2023 at the request of the Chairman of the Committee on Budget and Public Finance of the Senate. He also served as Director of the Institute of Economics at the Polish Academy of Sciences from 2015 to 2018. Since 2021, he has been a member of the Council of Experts of the Green REV Institute.
- Seminar Content: This seminar will present research on the heterogeneity of the impact of different types of government spending on GDP. Specifically, it will compare the macroeconomic effects of various categories of government expenditure, including military spending and public investment, in Poland and India.
